Yes, but not fondly. The ice cream was the cheapest crap they could sell and eating it was always a mess. In the way, way back, the cups were made of heavy waxed paper, not plastic.
Might have hated the spoons but love the memories. Playing baseball all day. Building forts. Swimming in a local pond. Sitting in a pear tree and eating until you felt sick. Chasing lightning bugs and putting them in a glass jar after dark. Catching bluegills and putting them in the neighbors pool. He didn't much care for that one. My father near beat me to death and I never resented him for it. He did me a favor actually. Thanks for the stroll down memory lane.
Thats Correct !!! ..when you ,me all of us got this tiny round ice cream with wooden spoon ..IT WAS A / SOMETIMES a unexpected surprise treat !!! Memory Lane here I come to thanks you all !!!
They sold it in the school lunchline for an extra nickel. We already had desserts for lunch like jello, puddings (several flavors), tapioca and rice puddings, and even an occasional banana split (yes, really, in our way rural school).

Yes, I remember and I hated using those spoons. Terrible feeling on your teeth.

Oh I remember! I remember that the ice cream cups were too small!
I remember them and the spoons did suck. Remember the little square milk cartons too that eventually changed into pyramid shape.
