California Parents Charged With Hate Crime For Kidnapping Boy Found Hiding In Teen Daughter's Closet

(SAN FRANCISCO) -- The parents of a 15-year-old California girl are being charged with a hate crime after they allegedly kidnapped and abused their daughter's boyfriend after they found him hiding in the home, according to police.

On Thursday afternoon, the 17-year-old victim went to police to report that he'd been held against his will, assaulted and threatened by three people at a home in San Bruno, about 12 miles south of San Francisco, according to a news release by the San Bruno Police.

The victim was visiting the girl at her home when the family members arrived around 2:30 a.m. that morning, police said. They then "became irate and started assaulting" him, according to the release.

The suspects, which include the girl's mother, Haydee Arguello, 46, her stepfather, Wilfredo Amaya, 46, and her biological father, Luisandor Suarez, 49, allegedly restrained the teen using rope, held him against his will, threatened to kill him and assaulted him multiple times.

17 year old male in a 15 year old females bedroom closed past 2am? I don't think race was the top of the list of issues with the boy when it came to being an angry parent. 17 is a little too close to adult.

I guess a 17 year old shouldn't be at his girlfriend's house at 2:30am. Got what he deserved.

15 year old CHILD was forcibly ripped away from her parents and placed in custody of the state. Is it her fault the Mexican parents don’t like brown people? NO. I’m literally crying right now over this child. CALIFORNIA you MUST do better..

The news is leaving out the 17 year old was Naked! His clothing was on the floor when the parents came into her room, that is how they found him!

I'm sure that these men were a teenager at one time. How many times did we have to get dressed quickly when our parents pulled into the driveway? Come on, he who is without sin cast the first stone.

He best be glad my dad didn't walk in on that! He would have beat him (and me) to a bloody pulp.
