Nice job boys! Look, if you want to solicit support that's fine but really this is the Little League and parents responsibility. Want to donate to kids? Find a kids cancer charity or the Ronald McDonald house. Those are the kids we need to support.

These Wondeful Group of Boy's are from Berlin and the surrounding areas. These boys are there for every practice and every game. Whether it's raining are sun is shining, they are just Courageous young boys are driven to do their best. And I give their parents so much credit for hanging in there and being at every game and practice cheering them on. That's what this world needs today, let these boys and parents of these boys set a good example. And indeed they sure have. High five to you all you deserve it!!!!

What an closed minded statement! First it is up to the players.parents and league to raise the money and that’s exactly what they are doing. Who are you to say when and where they do it or if it’s good enough for you. Ronald McDonald house is an amazing organization but Little Leauge is also,it teaches leadership and teamwork qualities that they can use further in life. Maybe you should visit the Little League hall of fame and see all the Drs. ,astronauts, lawyer, scientists and world leaders who have come through there.

@ July 11, 2019 at 12;08 AM. Maybe you do not know how many kids have ever been passed up because their parents were not important enough. I know damn well it happens because my girlfriends son was in Little League and the coach said he got up and walked out of the room when they picking the all stars. He said he was disgusted with the whole thing. He said it's not about the kids, but about who has money or power. The kids were picked because of who their parents were, not because of their skills. He never coached again.

It's true Little League is a great organization with more than 180,000 teams and 2.8mm kids participating. There is no question that many of those kids and teams are in it for the right reasons and get a lot out of the experience. These kids and this team from Berlin are no exception. Too often though these days and even in this area we see coaches setting poor examples, parents that are out of control and kids that throw tantrums showing just how selfish they are on and off the field. You can not go to a LL game these days without cringing at some point due to a coach or a parent or a player unsportsmanlike conduct. It's sad but true.

As a parent of a Little League player, I say "see ya" to the coach that walked away. Every league I know picks All-Stars based on skill and attitude. It's their opportunity to have their league shine. In fact, at Berlin, it's my understanding that players even have a say in the selection process by filling out ballots. If anyone where to believe that what you say is true, how would these teams possibly be winning State titles?

Sounds like you're a little butt-hurt by little Johnny not making the team. Try playing soccer.
