With the standard test scores being SOOOOO FREAKING dismal. They should QUIT. But soon enough they will be bitchen about wanting more money.

Get real teachers can only teach what they are allowed to and are required to dumb it down so all can pass.

Imagine your entire class consists exclusively of the worst of the worst from around the county. Now imagine having those same people for years and years, not just for 9 months until they graduate. Now imagine having to deal with them all year long, with no summers off. Now imagine doing it for less money. Welcome to the world of the probation officer.
"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink". Liberalism has debased the educational system to the point where students have become bored and disengaged. A rampant socialist ideology replacing historical events and the basic 3 Rs has endangered the youth. Coupled with that is the entitlement mentality that is again rampant in the inner cities and the lack of respect due to no nuclear family base. In my opinion.
It's hard to teach animals that don't want to learn.
its not the teachers fault..but SCHOOL VOUCHERS would place the money directly into the hands of actual educators not the bloated waste called the BOE. eliminate the incompetent bureaucracy. our schools today are only indoc centers for anti god, anti american, anti captialist ideals
What are they recovering from teaching "indoctrination instead of reading, writing, arithmetic and accurate history of our Country?
I read a lot of comments about the teachers hands being tied which no doubt is true, But they belong to a Union and it would be nice to see them fight for more freedom to untie their hands and away from federal control which has politicized our schools.
These teacher's are full of it. They cry and bitch about the students. But they back the UNION against EVERYTHING that would make the job better. School vouchers. Smaller class sizes. Get rid of the THUGS who aren't there to LEARN. KEEP backing your Union. The UNION is making your job unrewarding and dangerous. But you keep getting your RAISE. Never see them bitch about that.

They are off for the summer so they can tour the world on their overbloated salaries
LIFE IS GOOD as a retired UNION ELECTRICIAN. Too bad the anti-union element can't see the forest for the trees, but don't mind the higher standard of living gained by the competition of Union workers.
