And then the floods came. The water moved so fast that the vast majority of the farmers in the affected areas could not have moved what they had stored even if they wanted to, and the scale of the losses that these farmers have suffered is starting to become clearer.

Seems like a misleading article since last I saw prices on soybeans had not diminished at all. I am sure their plight is real but don't use fake facts to support your position

In Congress the Dems are concerned about the welfare of illegal aliens. Their not concerned about American workers and farmers that pay the tax for the illegals judicial hearings and the law enforcement on the border. It's sad the Dunbocraps are so ignorant.
Northwest Woodsman: We spend and waste an incredible amount of taxpayer dollars on foreign aid to countries that hate America and will do anything they can to subvert us. We should cut off most of the foreign aid and instead, use it to provide aid to those US citizens who actually need it and would appreciate it. President Trump has attempted to cut off aid to Central America due to their lack of assistance with the illegal immigrant issues. That is a good start. Imagine the squealing from the bunch of liberals who run the Department of State if he were successful in cutting or eliminating foreign aid altogether. Really, giving it some thought, what return do we get from the foreign aid program? I can’t think of any. Oh well, no matter, some liberal federal judge will issue an injunction and kill it anyway. We are screwed. Eventually all of this will lead to bloodshed, of that, I’m certain.
I'm confused and maybe someone can enlighten me! These farmers make their living on the land, but weren't smart enough to insure it, and now they expect taxpayers to bail them out due to their own negligence? I do believe that is what I read here!
