Parks, Sherry
Incident: Possession of Crack Cocaine
Date of Incident: 28 January 2019
Location: 400 block of East Vine Street, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Sherry L. Parks, 47, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 28 January 2019 at 1:31 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 400 block of East Vine Street to locate a wanted subject, Sherry Parks. Upon arrival, the deputy learned that Parks was hiding in a rear bedroom at which point the deputy entered the bedroom and found Parks hiding in a closet.
Parks was being sought on a warrant that was issued after Parks failed to appear for a Driving Suspended trial.
Upon arrest, the Deputy discovered that Parks was in possession of a small amount crack cocaine and a smoking device. The deputy transported Parks to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner on the warrant and the crack cocaine possession. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner released Parks on an unsecured bond on the warrant and on Personal Recognizance on the Crack Cocaine Possession.

Hartmann, Dylan
Incident: Violation of a Protective Order
Date of Incident: 1 February 2019
Location: 6000 block of Zion Church Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Dylan P. Hartmann, 23, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 February 2019 at 8:15 AM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Zion Church Road for the report of a subject inside the residence in defiance of a Temporary Protective Order that barred him from doing so. Upon arrival, the deputy located the subject in question, Dylan Hartmann, inside the residence with the Petitioner of the Temporary Protective Order and placed him under arrest.
The deputy transported Hartmann to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the District Court Commissioner released Hartmann on an unsecured bond.

Hartmann, Dylan
Incident: Violation of a Protective Order / Home Invasion
Date of Incident: 1 February 2019
Location: 6000 block of Zion Church Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Dylan P. Hartmann, 23, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 1 February 2019 at 4:16 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 6000 block of Zion Church Road for the report of an assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival the deputy discovered that this was the same residence where Dylan Hartmann had been arrested earlier in the day for a Violation of a Protective Order. After Hartmann’s release on an unsecured bond in that matter, Hartmann returned to this residence and forced entry through a back bedroom window. Once inside, it is alleged that Hartmann assaulted the Petitioner of the Protective Order and a male subject that attempted to intervene. While on scene the deputy observed signs of injury that corroborated an assault.
Hartmann had fled the residence prior to the arrival of the deputy so a track was initiated by a WCSO K9 team. After a track of just under two miles, Hartmann was discovered hiding in a barn and was taken into custody.
The deputy transported Hartmann to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance on this arrest, the Commissioner detained Hartmann in the Detention Center without bond.
Following a District Court Bond Review, Hartmann remained in the Detention Center without bond.
Charges: Violation of a Protective Order, Home Invasion, Assault 2nd Degree

Shores, Duane
Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 2 February 2019
Location: 31000 block of Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Duane Frederick Shores, 40, Pittsville, MD
Narrative: On 2 February 2019 at 11:08 PM, a deputy responded to a residence in the 31000 block of Old Ocean City Road for a reported assault that had just occurred. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a female victim who advised that she had just been assaulted by Duane Shores who then fled the scene prior to the arrival of the deputy. According to the victim, she was embroiled in a verbal altercation with Shores that turned physical when Shores struck her multiple times.
After leaving the scene, the deputy was called back to the scene with information that Shores had returned to the residence. The deputy then located Shores hiding in a shed in the yard.
The deputy also discovered that Shores was also wanted on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant that was issued earlier in January 2019 after Shores failed to appear for sentencing following a conviction in an Assault 2nd Degree case.
The deputy placed Shores under arrest and transported him to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. Following an initial appearance, the Commissioner detained Shores without bond in the Detention Center. Following a District Court bond review, Shores remained in the Detention Center without bond on this case.
Shores was also detained without bond in the Detention Center on the Circuit Court Bench Warrant.
Charges: Assault 2nd Degree and Failure to Appear for Sentencing

Hey district court commissioner, great job cutting Hartmann loose the first time! Luckily he didn't kill anyone!
