President Donald Trump offered to expand amnesty for certain young illegal immigrants in exchange for money to pay for a border barrier as a compromise to end the partial government shutdown.
“This is a commonsense compromise both parties should embrace,” Trump said Saturday in a nationally televised speech from the White House.
Democratic leaders have already said they would oppose the Trump compromise, so the partial shutdown of 25 percent of the federal government will likely continue for a while.
“The radical left can never control our borders. I will never let it happen. Walls are not immoral,” the president continued during the speech. “In fact, they are the opposite of immoral, because they will save many lives and stop drugs from pouring into our country.”

Democrats are liars when they say they want border security. They do not want border security that is why they hate the usage of the word wall. Democrats want border surveillance not security. There is a big difference security controls an activity where surveillance only observes and does nothing on security. Who would think the "bullying" socialist Democrats would know the difference, since they only want to indoctrinate people to their anarchist beliefs.
Trump needs to stick to his guns. The last thing this country needs is 1 Million illegal aliens turned Democrat voters.
I didn't vote for Trump for him to give away our country like that.
We have many groups that are trying to overthrow our government , I hope Trump calls the military in and starts wiping them out with any and all weapons . Start with the democrats , antifa , muslims etc..
Nancy is on a power Trip. She wants the world to know she is in charge. She doesn't want the wall because that was one of Trump's campaign promises. Build that Wall. It would make Trump look good in 2020. And it will.
How much better of a deal could she possible want? Oh, that's right, she doesn't want a deal at all, because it would look good for the President.
Marylanders, send a message to your senators (both of them) to get with the program and accept the compromise. They'll soon see on which side of the bread their butter is.

It just came out that the cost of the government shutdown is over 8 billion dollars and rising. PRESIDENT TRUMP is asking for 5.7 billion dollars. Democrats are winning this fight?? Keep thinking that Nancy and Chucky.

As I see it, trump has them by the cohonies because they ALL passed the Secure Fence Act in 2006. The only thing that has changed since then, is that he has become President. Anyone with half a brain can see the reason they will not give him the same wall that they said America needed. They see it as a victory for Trump and they will not let him have a victory come hell or high water even at the cost of America's security. What a bunch of two faced rats.
