So, it seems that Israel's main GDP is military defense, which is understandable, but do they produce any other product than military defense?

They produce an important product in Israel ,"religion "
most of israels adversaries used russian made weapons systems. hence we supply israel with our systems. then we get to sit back and see how they actually work without starting a major war. Plus we get the added benefit of any tweaks they may perform to our equipment to take on other functions. easy peasy!
Perhaps America is trying to bring Jesus into their lives.
They are our only ally in the Middle East. Our ships can refuel and our planes can fly over without dispute and land if need be. Comes in handy when there's a war.
There is only one reason we give money and protection to Israel.. it is to keep Christians happy with their biblical prophesy fantasies. There is no other real reason. To let the region fall to Muslim hands (and it would were it not for the U.S.) would ruin the prophesy narrative they so desperately cling to.
So if I get this right, we give them money, that they give back to buy weapons and planes and such... which we give to them. Why not just give them the arms... seems like it cuts out a step, and would save tax payers money.
If Israel is such the brilliant arms developers... why are they buying from us?
If we do this because it's the moral thing to do.. there are many countries under the boot of oppression and tyrannical theocratic rule... and we only seem to care when it's our religion or our wallets that matter... so lets not pretend shall we? Can we put our big boy pants on and call a spade a spade?
