The state of Maryland intends to ask a federal judge to declare Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein as acting attorney general in place of Matt Whitaker who was appointed to that position last week after former Attorney General Jeff Sessions was axed, NBC News reported Tuesday.
Maryland becomes the second jurisdiction to challenge Mr. Whitaker’s appointment. San Francisco City Attorney Dennis Herrera on Monday sent a letter to the Justice Department asking for the legal justification for bypassing Mr. Rosenstein as head of the Justice Department and threatening court action if he doesn’t get it.
Maryland Attorney General Brian Frosh, a Democrat, is expected to file court documents Tuesday, arguing that President Trump violated federal law and exceeded his authority by skipping the Justice Department’s statutory line of succession, NBC News said.

MD AG is wasting money doing all these frivolous lawsuits. Why is the Governor and Politians in Annapolis allowing this? Why is Miller and Busch allowing their Buddy to waste tax dollars while they steal money from the State Employees Retirement Fund without paying it back?
Rosenstein has proven to be biased and against anything the President does. The DOJ is no place for partisan politics. He should not even be there.

Maryland's attorney general was put in place to take care of matters pertaining to the state of Maryland and not to try and sue the federal government and President Trump everytime President Trump makes a decision "he", Frosh doesn't like personally!
I really hoped Wolf would replace frosh, routed for him every where I went including here. With jealous getting 43% of the vote...I cant believe even the most liberal Md'ers would vote for a socialist. I cant help but see with Md being a sanctuary state...just how many non-citizens voted in Our election? If this vote fraud isnt stopped now, the next election will make us totally socialist governed.
