Floor Collapses At Party In Salisbury, Maryland

Truck 1, Engine 16 and AC 1 responded to a reported gas leak on S. Division St. On arrival units found the floor had collapsed due to being over occupied from a party and broke a gas line. There were no injuries and the structure was condemned.

One has to wonder just how many people we at this party?

Kind of off topic but why does Pittsville fire department have to zoom fire trucks around town speeding 40mph plus on residential streets using engine retarders and blowing the siren.

This particular landlord has over occupied student rentals all over Salisbury and fruitland. Could care less about the students or the neighborhoods. All his housing should be investigated!! Shame on the City of SaLisbury, the City of Fruitland and Salisbury University! After the code officers inspect he converts his "bonus rooms" and attics into additional bedrooms.
