Why Naomi Osaka is likely to become a branding sensation

Tennis phenom Naomi Osaka is about to show Madison Avenue what she can do off the court.

After notching her first Grand Slam, soundly beating Serena Williams at the US Open, the shy 20-year-old is poised to become a branding sensation, marketing experts say.

Her four-year deal with Adidas — reportedly worth in the low six figures — is about to expire this year, while a car endorsement is said to be in the works and will likely be announced this week.

“Her brand value for Adidas is in the millions now,” sports marketing consultant Joe Favorito said.

It sure was, Naomi was the true adult on the court and deserves the win she got, as well as multiple endorsement for her professionalism something the other player did not show. Serena chose to use multiple “cards” but none of them were the winning hand.
