The county is passing a new bill that will lead to more animals being mistreated at the HS because HS is the county designee. This is why I want people to pay attention to the county at this very moment. The county has ZERO power of oversight over HS but the bill will exempt the county or its designee from ALL liability after an animal is picked up. How is that good for people or animals? It is no different than congress exempting themselves from laws so they dont apply to them. The county is giving the HS a free pass with the bill to do what they do. This article barely scratches the surface of how bad the HS is here.
