I remember this listing one of the local papers when they printed all the positions down to part time summer sanitation helper making like $1,650.00
Top 100 - if you can get "in" and work your way through the system - nice pension! Sorry folks, most of these jobs are NOT starting salary. These salaries include folks with over 30 years experience. LEOs, first responders, etc. Same with the Director type positions, either they worked their way up OR are retirees from elsewhere.
Again, if one can ever get "in".
Not to mention, here's where ALL the money goes too! Doesn't include benefits OR overtime either!!!

35 police officers in that group with the lowest earning over $88k. The highest enlisted in the military with 30 years of service only makes around $90k and that would only be if they were living in DC or Honolulu.
Must be nice to have that kinda pay as a police officer yet a County Sheriff does so much more and covers much more yet makes less. Smh. Thanks County Commissioners

I was told they are only interviewing "local" people so what does that tell you. Again the good ole boy system and John Tull isn't qualified for the position. He doesn't have a real college degree. He has a fake college degree from an unaccredited online fake school. This is the same fake degree that it took both John Tull and Rick Hoppes forever to get until they got smarter fire department employees to take their online tests for them. It was a community test where the so called exams were not proctored. It's called FRAUD.

I agree with 12:21, I am also surprised that the OC establishment gave you access to this information. The moron politicos would be much better off by financially subcontract out a vast amount of these services. They do in Delaware.
They are really busy about 3 months kinda busy about 2 months and dead about 7 months. This is why they need to find any way possible to get revenue. Keep in mind the benefits packages. It use to be the benefits are why people worked for government. This town covers both.
