Lol
And Robbery and auto theft ..
FAKE DAY has to realize the NUMBERS CAN'T BE HIDDEN.

I guess they are not arresting hoe's since prostitution which falls under human trafficking is down 100%

It would be a good time to get into the hoe business.

You just wait until the Folk/Assault/Robbery Festival!

Joe, Somebody is fudging the stats. From 2012 to 2017 there were no murders in Salisbury? I can think of 6 off the top of my head. The police and the mayor should be held accountable for these lies!

400 block of W. Naylor Mill Road? Isn't that the detention center area? Was it at the detention center? If so, wouldn't that fall under Wicomico Dept of Corrections and not SPD?

The statistics are for January through April of each year.

900% increase seems incredible until you consider that is just 2 murders in 2018 compared to 10 year average. Same for the rape statistic. Same number of rapes we had in 2009 and 2010 and only 2 over the 10 year average. All other data in this report shows great trends. Robbery’s down, assault down, burglary down, theft down, vehicle theft down, arson down. Actually close to the 10 year minimums in most of these categories so even as the year progresses hopefully year end totals will still trend downward.

Just wait and see how it jumps should Jack get elected County Exec. Jack will totally destroy the county with Jakes help of course!

3:04 PM they have had MORE rape press releases than 2.
and yes 1:57 PM there have been a ton of murders here - looks like more fake figures.

I am sure the murders were reclassified as assaults.

So tell me Joe since you have all the answers what would you do in an effort to stop crime in Salisbury? Do you doubling the size of the police department will help the crime problem? Who will pay for such an increase? Using a little common sense I'd say Salisbury residents get what they pay for currently but if you think more police is going to solve the problem are tax payers willing to pay for it? You complain about everything so how about once you offer a solution to a problem rather than set behind your computer screen and bully the community.

10:35, "Who will pay for such an increase," but it's OK to pay tens of millions of extra taxpayer money to the Board of Education while their stats plummet and we build/reward them with new schools.

Let me just say this. Talk to ANY Salisbury Police Officer, (especially the veterans) if they are happy. Officers are saying they don't even want to arrest people because the Chief will lower the charges only to pad the stats.

Barbara Duncan doesn't give a rats a$$ about letting the public know what's going on. She is a puppet. The SPD Chief needs to be an elected official and NOT controlled by the Mayors Office, that's a good start.

It's all about LEADERSHIP, not more Officers.

So STOP trying to put words in my mouth suggesting I want more Officers.

My solution, fire the Police Chief, (like I have stated) and consider it to be an elected position.
