I was informed that the mere fact she got 2 years supervised probation on her first dui offense is extremely harsh. Meaning, she did something very wrong when she was arrested. Most first offenders do not get supervised probation, period. They must have had something very concrete on their body cam and the Judge punished her in a very big way for what she did.

They won't risk their own self to help a brother and are delighted to have that arrest marked on their belt. Speaking from experience, times have changed.

Only thing I can think of to get her to plead guilty is that there is something on the body cam footage and she took the guilty plea so it would not be released to the public as evidence. That being said someone if they were so inclined could file a PIA request and see if they could obtain said footage.

Very harsh for 1st offense, if in fact is 1st. Hell I got 30 days and no probation for my 3rd (other 2 were over 20 years ago) I will say Wicomico is coming down hard on DWI and domestic violence.

Not a harsh punishment at all for a first timer...I got a DWI in Wicomico County in 2008 and I've never been stopped for as much as a speeding ticket before that and I got 80 hours community service, 24 months supervised probation and had to take 24 weeks of alcohol counseling twice a week.
The thing I'd be interested in is the 120 days in jail. That's what is harsh for a first timer..
Called covering each others azz. If it was you or me, we would have a large fine, go to counseling, and spend a few days in jail, and have our license suspended.
