President Donald Trump on Monday advocated for more institutions to deal with mental health, adding that there is “no halfway” between jail and those who need help on the streets.
“We have to confront the issue and we have to discuss mental health and we have to do something about it,” the president said. “You know, in the old days we had mental institutions. We had a lot of them. And you could nab somebody like this, because they … knew something was off. You had to know that. People were calling all over the place.”

Exactly! If you want to discuss limiting the gun rights of all people. Then we need to discuss limiting the rights of those who pose a threat regardless of weapons. I bet the democrats will love this idea. Democrats will be crying aobut how this unfairly judges someone while ignoring all the judging and right's tampering they have been doing to gun owners. I say F&^% the democrats - go for it Trump.
Years ago they closed the mental institutions because the progressives said it was cruel and against their civil rights to keep people institutionalized. So we let them out and they had no where to go and became homeless. Talk about cruel. I say we require all bleeding heart liberals to take in the homeless to fill up their spare bedrooms. Oprah should be able to handle 100 and Clooney should be good for at least 40 and I'm sure Matt Damon won't mind taking care of their water needs.
Finally, a plan that recognizes the problem and gets these liberals back in institutions where they belong and can do no further harm.
Sadly we do need to open up a mental institution right in Washington DC. Hillary, Nancy, McCain, and many others have shown that they need to be put away for the protection of this country.
Good ole' Jimmy Carter is the one who closed the institutions because he was and still is a naïve idiot.
