BREAKING NEWS: A Viewer Writes: Lower Shore Shelter about to close

The Lower Shore Shelter, the new homeless shelter that opened in Princess Anne in December is about to close down. Due to mismanagement, general incompetence, and arrogance on the part of the board members, the shelter is out of money. The state is all over it about unapproved expenses, high salaries and other problems. The state dumped about a million dollars into building it and the county has been pouring money into keeping it alive. Another stellar example of the stupidity. They are already looking to move homeless people at that shelter to other shelters as soon as possible. There is no money to pay employees.
