Two sodas a day double the risk of heart disease, study finds

People who drink at least two cans of soda a day are twice as likely to die from heart disease, new research warns.

However, researchers did not find this link with the consumption of sugary foods.

They believe this has something to do with the way sugary drinks flood the body with sugar, while in foods the sugar-release is slowed down by fat and protein.

The new study from Emory University is the latest in a slew of research laying bare the damning health dangers of sugar-sweetened drinks as soda sales continue to decline.

I hate studies that use reverse correlations. I bet I can find 5 things for people who die earlier than expected that led to their premature demise. I hear that men who use belts larger than 42 inches tend to be obese. Does that mean the belt caused the obesity???
Did anyone think that people who eat healthy don't drink sugary drinks and that people who don't, might do lots of things that are bad for their health.
Maybe it's the tail wagging the dog.
I wish they would stop wasting government money (research grants) on these ridiculous studies because there are no experiments - just looking for correlations of things unhealthy people have in common.

So good, so fast and great with a cheap rail bourbon. Now, get an expensive bourbon - that's either on the rocks or just in your cup of choice!

Friday mornings, it goes in the coffee mug for sunrise services! No one questions people with coffee cups, on the boards during sunrise! Now if we're swaying back and forth, blame it on our age!

Drink up!
