We’ve seen deeply misguided hatred and rage directed toward people who want to protect themselves with a gun rather than targeted at the heart of the problem. It’s time for reason and sound judgement to prevail.
Though it seems like an easy solution, the deep divide we’re facing in this country is not nearly as simple as “banning guns” equals “problem solved.” This battle we’re facing isn’t about guns, it’s about evil. Evil in the hearts of those who choose to act with a gun.
However, for us to face that truth as a society means that we also must confront the culture we’ve created. We are living in the midst of a depraved culture where right is wrong and wrong is right. One where we’ve seen the breakdown of family values, and an overall morality that’s flexible.

Well said, but still will make no difference... Get ready for the repubs to lose their seats and the dems take full control again... Then you won't have a choice to own a gun...
And think about this for a second would you all... Here in MD they have 71 proposed gun laws most to be voted on by the 6th of this month!!!! A lot of those bills says it will be unlawful to sell, buy or even posses a mag or clip with more than 10 round capacity... Do you hear that??? Make it illegal to even own those items, and that is before anything else gets stuffed in the back before voting time, as they always do... They have a bill that will ban assault style weapons, with a detachable mag or clip, what that means is even hand guns not just riffles will be affected, because they too have detachable mags/clips... Also, they use word trickery becasue anything can be considered an assault style weapon if you use it to harm anyone, so technically a car can be, a pencil can be and even an eraser...
Now while you all think on that for a second, think about this too, what will stop the govt from taking anything else, with no compensation and will label you a felony or at least a criminal just for owning something??? If they can take away accessories from you, not reimburse you for it, who is to say they won't change eminent domain rules to not give you a damn thing and just take your house???? If the dems retake control, they can certainly pass such laws... But see none of you look at the big picture, always think it won't affect you but it all will!!!!
Ironic - I just went online yesterday morning and signed up for a year membership and I don’t even own a gun - yet. I believe it wil be $40 well spent.
