Too Many Wars. Too Many Enemies

If Turkey is not bluffing, U.S. troops in Manbij, Syria, could be under fire by week’s end, and NATO engulfed in the worst crisis in its history.

Turkish President Erdogan said Friday his troops will cleanse Manbij of Kurdish fighters, alongside whom U.S. troops are embedded.

Erdogan’s foreign minister demanded concrete steps by the U.S. to end its support of the Kurds, who control the Syrian border with Turkey east of the Euphrates, all the way to Iraq.

If the Turks attack Manbij, the U.S. will face a choice: Stand by our Kurdish allies and resist the Turks, or abandon the Kurds.

Should the U.S. let the Turks drive the Kurds out of Manbij and the entire Syrian border area with Turkey, as Erdogan threatens, U.S. credibility would suffer a blow from which it would not soon recover.

But to stand with the Kurds and oppose Erdogan’s forces could mean a crackup of NATO and loss of U.S. bases inside Turkey, including the air base at Incirlik.

We should pull out of all Foreign conflicts and stop sending our boys into these useless battles only to come home maimed, crippled and out of their minds. We have our own resources we do not need theirs or their alliance. Let them all kill each other who cares we need to make better safer lives for American Citizens.

Ask NATO and do as directed.

That's waaaaaayyy too simple for these idiots.

The USA is tired of making decisions for the rest of the world.

Pull out and watch the house of cards fall. it's time to gift./

Oil requires blood my friend. Protecting democracy at home includes abroad. Unfortunately we can't be the bulldog of the world and retreat back to your dog house, it'd create the same vacuum that allowed ISIS to take power.

These peoples in this part of the world have been at war with each other for over 2 thousand years and our government thinks we can go in and stop it, make peace with everyone and they will live happily ever after! Fantasyland! We need to pull out and let them do or die on their own. Even the Russians gave up on Afghanistan! These people don't want communism, democracy, dictatorship or a kingdom. They seem happy to run around destroying their countries and killing each other. With all the modern technology their is today to solve almost any problem, they have no interest in it unless it is a weapon to kill more of their own population and country!

"We" "Our" so on.
These comments tell me that Americans are completely clueless about WHO runs the government and WHO the government serves. It is almost laughable, except it is very serious.

Look, the US government and its military (and your children) serves the richest families on the planet.
I'm not talking about their puppets, Warren Buffet or little Billy Gates.

The Rothschilds, Warburgs, Duponts, Astors, Rockefellers, so on run the world and dictate who gets murdered by US military operations. Wake up. Wall Street and London bankers orchestrated WWI and WWII. They funded both sides of the conflict.
Al CIA Duh' was run by the US trained operative, Tim Osmond (aka Osama Bin Laden). There is more money to be made in Heroin and Cocaine than there is in any legitimate business enterprise. Wake up folks. It is embarrassing.
