A financial supporter of Chris Christie's 2009 gubernatorial campaign has been pardoned by the governor following his guilty plea to falsifying payroll records.
Joseph Longo, a Morristown electrical contractor, donated $500 to Christie's 2009 campaign and his company gave $1,050 to the same bid as well as two inaugural events, according to North Jersey.com.

I'm a conservative. Christie does not meet my definition of a Republican or a Human Being.
I'm not sure what I am politically but I have voted democrat in a long time. However Christie squeezed every dime he could out of his voters and it showed in the past election results. He is all about him.
DEEP STATE!.,. OH yes,, it is Sad!! Chriss Chripie is Not!!! A Republicans Sweet One! Ick!!@
Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Just can't win. If the fellow had donated $1,50 it would have brought the same criticism. Look how much money he is saving the state by NOT having to support this criminal. Would there be any benefit to the state to keep him locked up??? I think it was a smart move.
Democrats' way: keep the petty criminals in jail, let the rich ones go free..
Even Donald cut him off early. Too much baggage. He should have had the bypass surgery on his brain and mouth.
