$15 Million in Taxpayer Money Has Been Paid Out to Settle Congressional Sexual Harassment Suits

Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) informed NBC’s Chuck Todd on Tuesday that $15 million in taxpayer money had been paid out over the years to settle sexual harassment suits filed against members of Congress.

Earlier in the day, Speier testified in front of the House Administration Committee that two members of Congress, a Republican and a Democrat, have engaged in sexual harassment in the past.

Todd asked Speier about her allegations of sexual harassment and what she believes her responsibility is in going public with that information.

“Well, it is my responsibility to address the seriousness of this issue. These survivors are subject to a non-disclosure agreement. I’m not going to violate their non-disclosure agreement,” Speier responded.

Total BS!

Why are they not named? These settlements are the responsibility of the members of Congress not the tax payer. They should be named and made to reimburse the tax payer plus removed ASAP.

No, 6:59.... it's not that.

It's Two Sets of Laws.

With cheerleaders numbering in the millions.

It's like the peasants cheering after Marie Antoinette told them to eat cake (while she wined and dined on steak and the freshest vegetables).

You know the rest, right??
And cheer like crazy, because you think it could never happen here, huh???
It will. And it might be YOUR head in the basket this time.....
We'll need a BIG basket just for the cheerleaders.

Or, just leave them in the street as an example. Just as good.

It is none of our business.
We are citizens, or employees of the US Government.
The USG is quite a different entity from the United States of America.
USA doesn't exist.
Hasn't for a long time.

Now we have the USG as a tyrannical abusive greedy controlling government over the people.
We are considered enemies of this corporation.
