UPDATE: A parent just called and said the school is contacting parents and allowing all parents come pick up their children at Bennett.
They stated there was a major fight, "out of control" and the kids are scared to death.
UPDATE 2: There is a line just to get into the school. We were told one teacher was knocked out in this massive brawl, (not confirmed). All of the kids are being held in the cafeteria.

When my sons there going there, I was told there were fights there on a regular basis. I am glad they are no longer going to this school. It's more like a prison and less like a high school. School was less than a year old and the bathrooms were already trashed!

What I have been told is there was a riot, 10 kids pepper sprayed, no one in or out. Just drove past, police, fire, ambulances, and helicopter above. On lock down. News crews across the street, but Joe is the first to know, Nothing on either news source in Salisbury. Just saying!

I'm sure the local media will cover this up. Fights and riots happen on a daily basis and is never reported. I hear about it from my son and from some of the teachers who go to my church about how bad it is in the schools.

In response to an earlier post: Local media reports what they are TOLD by the school officials and law enforcement. The media is trying to relay the facts. The last big episode in November was sugar coated by the WCBOE public relations people. It's the WCBOE that tries to sweep it under the rug. Ask your children what happened. They'll be the ones with most accurate accounts.
