Virginia trailer 'kills 2 children approaching school bus'

Two children were killed when a truck carrying 37 tons of mulch hit them as they approached a school bus in Buckingham County.

The crash happened Thursday morning on Route 15 in Dillwyn, Virginia.

Police say a tractor-trailer traveling on Route 15 struck two children approaching a school bus and both children died at the scene.

Officials investigating the crash confirmed the five-year-old boy and six-year-old girl killed were cousins.

A man at the scene who said he was the grandfather of one of the victims said the children were cousins.

The five-year-old girl was identified by her mother as Tori Perez.

So where were the parent/s? These kids should not have been by that road alone. This is what happens when you do not watch your children like a responsible parent would.
