5:00, The County Council has not been formally brought up to speed as to what's going on with Station 1.

Piedmont Airlines will not be providing a Fire Service at the Airport after November. In order to keep the FAA License the County must provide that Fire Service after November 1st.

The Council is clearly being proactive, ahead of the curves.

so if piedmont wont provide the personnel to cover for their operations then why aren't they paying landing fees which would help to cover these costs? they pay them at other airports. why do the citizens continue to pay hard earned money so american airlines can get a pass and keep the money the take from our community?
They don't provide hardly any jobs here any more!
you park there you pay!

What with BWI and the other major airports, do we really need scheduled air service in Wicomico County. If it were discontinued, the shuttle firm might expand its service to BWI.
