Their attorneys general may be the president's most redoubtable foe.
Democrats were decimated at nearly every level of government over the past six years. Republicans control the House and may well do so for the foreseeable future; the party is looking at a very favorable Senate map in 2018. Democrats control just 31 of the 99 state legislative chambers across the country and have a measly 16 governorships.
The opposition’s glimmer of hope: Democrats have 22 state attorneys general—enough to gum up the works for President Donald Trump's agenda when congressional Democrats can't.
And these AGs aren't humble about this point.

Problem is when they reach the Supreme Court level whatever these crazy AGs have done gets smacked down. Is it really their last hope or are they just screwed all the way around?
Give it up already! The far left will have to change or they will finish off the Democratic Party. R.I.P.
And the supreme court is about to become VERY Constitutional.
And Maryland is one of the leaders. The General Assembly has just passed an act to allow the ultra liberal doofus AG Brian Frosh to sue the US without getting Gov. Hogan's OK, and made a special appropriation of funds for that purpose.
