Supreme Court Asked To Settle Battle Over Courtroom Ban On Phones, Computers
For more than 35 years, states have been allowed to let cameras in the courtroom, but some courts have enacted full bans — not just on TV cameras and photographers but on all electronic devices, and at all times. A Michigan man thinks this is going too far, and has officially petitioned the Supreme Court to settle the matter.
Good. It is past time these courts have been examined. Along with electronic devices being banned, some courts, maybe all, ban people from wearing hats inside, except for police of course. (no hypocrisy at all)
I would really like for the JP courts in Delaware to be examined. One can almost touch the corruption in those as soon as one walks in the door. And Maryland courts. They live in their own little world where nothing matters but them.
