As part of the move to punish Russia for its role in hacking the Democratic National Committee and influencing a United States election, President Barack Obama on Thursday announced sanctions that include shuttering the compound.
The 45-acre retreat was purchased by the former Soviet Union in 1972 and is situated on the banks of the Corsica River. Russians will be denied access to the compound beginning at noon Friday.

I grew up in Centerville MD. And would often go boating on the Corsica River,Grove Creek and of all the time spent there never saw anything that would cause alarm's to go off. They had guards at the gate that's about it. You hardly ever saw them off the compound. And I'm telling you this was years of being around there. Pioneer Point is at the entrance to Grove Creek with Recovery Development being at the end of Grove Creek. This is by far another step by Obama to make The Donald"s entrance into office harder and harder. Of all of the President's we have had this one will go down by far as the worse in history.
Like the US isn't doing the same things in other countries.

So let me get this straight, someone broke the law during the election, we find out about it because their servers got hacked, and the information posted, but we go after the people we are told, with no evidence, that hacked the servers, but we do nothing to the people who broke the laws just the people who may or may not have released the information. Bait and switch at its best you people aren't paying attention, the criminals get away again because we won't stay focused on the real issue.
I do not know why Obama is treating it like it is such a big deal - his clone, Hillary, took all 10 Maryland electoral delegates despite some alleged Russians hack into the DNC. Really and truthfully - Trump should have received at least 7 Maryland Electoral Delegates because he won 17 jurisdictions to Hillary's 7. If the Maryland's Electoral college was run like it was at the national level - Donald Trump would have mopped-up and won Maryland too.

Don't be silly. They are not spies. They are diplomats. How dumbed down you people have become. What do you think a Russian spy is going to pretend to be a Russian diplomat? The Russians wouldn't let one of their spies anywhere near that compound. Another thing why would anyone with an ounce of sense believe anything coming out of the Obama admin. He has proven time and time over he is a pathological liar.

They bought it in 1972, from OUR government. I don't see how they got "caught" when it should have been obvious what it would be used for.
