Agreed, the system is awful. For every one story of it saving someone life there are thousands that it has ruined. I really wish we were able to come up with a system that worked for everyone.

I would then have to go without insurance and pray I don't get sick. I would use that 700 per month I was paying and put that in the bank as a medical fund, and to pay the income tax penalty for refusing to have health insurance! This is more than my current monthly net pay from my job. If it comes to putting food on my table and paying this, I will put food on my table! To hell with them!

The system could be arranged to take care of everyone, but that is not what our government wants. The plan is easy. 1) Go back to the pre obamacare days. 2) Allow portability of insurance. 3) Those who truly cannot afford insurance will be place into the current Medical Assistance program and pay on a sliding scale. This had already been done before Obama screwed things up! 4)Those who can afford but simply do not get insurance will have liens put against their possessions when the need care and do not pay. SIMPLE AS THAT! And it really is as SIMPLE AS THAT!! Anyone says otherwise and they are a democrat or just a liar.

1009 Don't forget to put a CAP on Malpractice suits. This is what drives Doctors Operating Costs sky-high is the Malpractice Insurance they HAVE to carry in order to practice medicine. This is why you see so many doctors working in "Medical Conglomerates" because they split the cost but to the patients, the care is not good. When was the last time your DOCTOR sat down with you and not a Nurse Practitioner?

What is funny here is how I get to tell you all stupid people yet again, I TOLD YOU SO... We tried to warn you, we tried to educate you, we even tried to help you, but instead, you demonized us, ran your mouth about something you know nothing about... You didn't want to hear it, you didn't want to believe it, you didn't want to listen becasue you thought we were conspiracy theorist, who in the end was right again, but you rather believe and listen to proven lairs, the media... NOW WHERE ARE YOU???? Enjoying that premium yet? which will go up 30% this year???? So you love it yet becasue you all did when you defended this shit!!!!!

And as usual, you are on here running your mouth about how you hate something we tried to warn and educate and help you with... In my opinion you all dumb clowns don't deserve the right to speak your mind, you are the ones who wanted it, loved it, and let it happen... Because oh no god forbid you actually think evil exists and they want to harm you...

Okay, it's math time everybody...

Didn't Obama say that people's health insurance would go DOWN with Obamacare?

Well this man was paying $8,541.96 a year (this is down?) but in January 2017, he'll have to pay $22,466.04 a year.

How's that going DOWN?

Wake up, people! Dare to be INFORMED!

10:11 AM whats your point? people do not typically listen to boastful idiots. running your mouth on a blog did not solve the problem then, and wont solve the problem now. maybe you should have made better use of your time actually campaigning against it.

Everyone thank Obammy......better vote for someone who will repeal this mess. Better to start from scratch....looks like this person would be a hell of a lot better off to pay the fine and say the hell with the insurance......if he is a healthy individual!

Anonymous said...

The easiest solution is just give those who need insurance the same plan that congress has at the same price and watch their premiums sky rocket.

My husbands insurance is going up also.I went on the exchange to see if I could get it cheaper..that was a joke. Health insurence is scam just like other insurences. They take so much more money from you than you will ever claim out..there needs to be a better system.

For $700/month you could fly to Mexico and stay at a nice hotel while you get treated by good physicians. And you could claim it all as medical expenses on your tax return.

Insurance executives are getting FILTHY rich.
They sell a product that the government (with armed agents and unlimited power to coerce) DEMANDS and FORCES you to buy (how great is THAT for sales!!?) and allows you to charge whatever you like, the higher the better (for them).
the VERY best part of this scam??
They have to buy it, but most can't afford to use it!!
$22,000 a year! And NEXT year??? $35,000. Or MORE.
That's the kind of thing that starts revolutions.
When the government starts taking the side of PRIVATE businesses and then uses it's power to punish those who won't "cooperate" and "comply" with the industry they favor, it may be time for just that.
You keep cheering.
I'm buying MORE AMMUNITION today.

This is an issue Trump isn't pushing enough. It affects all WORKING people big time, and has been his biggest disaster, along with killer ally

The government running business' that demand that you buy something is a form of Fascism, plain and simple. Please look it up before berating me.

Just my two cents.

Just curious, Mr.or Ms. 10:11 am - who exactly are you? You are berating a lot of the people on here. I just need to know who I can send a sincere thank you to. It is wonderful what you have sacrificed and done, and I quote you - 'that I get to tell you all stupid people yet again, I TOLD YOU SO... We tried to warn you, we tried to educate you, we even tried to help you,...' Really, Who are you and also, who is 'we'? This is coming from one of the stupid people who really feels so stupid for not following you and listening to you and not learning enough from you. Please do tell all of stupid people so we can listen to you and 'we' in the future.

Thank you

Not Quite Understanding --

Its actually unconstitutional period. Roberts was leaned on to rule in favor of retaining it as we know now from Wikileaks and other sources. Obama has been a fascist dictator for the last 8 years and now people are seeing fallout from it.

Vote out Fascism. Vote Trump 2016!

No wonder he wants to get chummy with Castro, he governs just like him. Too bad Castro didn't reciprocate the love.

Absolutely 12:43PM! It has to stop now! I only wish that our liberal brethren would wisen up and see things for the way that they are and not how things are being portrayed to the masses. The state of our nation is not good contrary to what you will hear on the news and out of DC.

Anonymous said...

Not understanding you must be 😂😂 when you say this. Assured no liberal is ever going to admit their grave errors.

Actually 1:56PM, I was! Thanks for noticing! You make me proud of all Anonymous people now. Just joking, only you Anonymous 1:56 PM, only you bud!

The notice to Jay Wells from BCBS of Georgia indicates clearly that "this isn't a Marketplace plan." It appears that Mr. Wells has obtained a private policy directly from the insurance carrier rather through any group (whether a typical employee group, or the applicable public exchange). This has always been the most expensive way to gain coverage, and still is. Mr. Wells could likely find lower rates and other financial advantages by doing what is suggested in the notice and going through the public exchange, but he doesn't appear to have done so. Since his state, Georgia, elected not to create an exchange, then he would go through the Federal exchange instead. Regardless of one’s political leanings, healthcare and health insurance are important issues and should be addressed carefully. If we’re going to evaluate "Obamacare" then let's at least do so accurately.

4:43 Don't confuse the masses with facts. They are not interested in the bold print clearly stating that this is not the lowest possible choice but instead most likely the most expensive.

Anonymous said...

Bingo 443, Bingo!

Anonymous said...

639 the Bronze IS the lowest choice. It goes Bronze, Silver and Gold being the highest. Maybe YOU should read the bold print.

Having premiums based on income rather than the product you buy is another way to destroy capitalism. So many people are choosing to earn or report less income to keep their premiums low that it is skyrocketing the premiums for the minority who do pay.
This is another bad Democratic idea that has hurt hard-working Americans.
Vote Trump to end this debacle.

Glad I got a state job!

Anonymous said...

But Obama said our premiums would go down at least $2500.00 a year. Did he lie?

Anonymous said...

If people are really turning down the opportunity to earn more money simply to save some money on health insurance -- a savings which will almost certainly be less than the amount of money they've given up to get the lower rates -- they deserve to be poor.
