REHOBOTH BEACH, DELAWARE A suspect in a Rehoboth Beach carjacking was killed in a Maryland crash during a police pursuit Monday night and a second suspect was injured, city police said this morning.
The carjacking happened about 10:15 a.m. Saturday at the Royal Farms store in the 400 block of Rehoboth Ave.
An 80-year-old man from Hagerstown, Maryland, reported he had given a man and woman a ride from the Wawa store on Veterans Way, but he became suspicious when they arrived at the Royal Farms and tried to remove the keys but the woman scratched his hand. The victim was able to get out of the car and the man got into the driver’s seat and drove away with the woman in the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban.
After releasing surveillance images of the couple from one of the stores, Rehoboth Lt. Jaime B. Riddle said, police had identified the suspects as John W. Poore, 34, of Elkton, Maryland, and Ashley K. Ford, 25, of Perryville, Maryland.
On Monday night, Maryland Transportation Authority police spotted the stolen vehicle on northbound Interstate 95.

Are we supposed to feel sorry or something?
When you chose to live a high risk thug lifestyle you have a good chance of dying young. No sympathy here.
Sounds like one of those freaking lowlife from fire creek!!!
They are both Caucasians
When it rains it Poores
LOL there's no fooling you is there 1:26. See how it is when you finally surround yourself with honest people. We call it like it is unlike some out there who have every excuse under the sun for when a black commits a crime. This is what the black community needs-honesty! When they start valuing honesty they will become a better people for it.
Justice served.
You all know whites are p.o.s.thugs too. It's not just a "black" thing.
What a bunch of morons.
Feel sorry for the man whose car was stolen and destroyed. He'll be out of pocket in trying to replace his vehicle.
Glad he was uninjured.
