The two ads flown over Ocean City last weekend featured pro-Republican messages — “Stop Mad Cow Disease-Defeat Hillary” and “America First-Build The Wall Now.” It’s safe to say hundreds of thousands of beach-goers saw these messages and apparently some were so offended they took their complaints to City Hall as well as Bunting.
The negative reaction resulted in Bunting quickly deciding on his own to suspend all political ads moving forward because he doesn’t want the hassle of a controversy and doesn’t want to cause any trouble for Ocean City. The ads were apparently placed by a person outside the area.
“It’s just not worth the aggravation of people not being able to handle the political system. I agreed to just not accept any political ads whatsoever anymore. I’m going to lay low and not do any political ads,” Bunting told the paper. “… There’s just no tolerance anymore for opposing viewpoints. People don’t understand people buy advertising … These weren’t vulgar ads in anyway. If the Democrats want them now, guess what they don’t get them. Where’s the American way? I’ve never seen anything so nasty. People are scared to say what they really feel anymore. Everyone is just too sensitive. It’s a shame.”

Being offended is every bit one of our rights.Taking our complaints as far as we choose is our right.Voting for whoever we choose is our right.As Americans we can also make the wrong decisions.That would certainly complicate our lives but it's our right.And last but not least,being overly sensitive is our right.

I call BS on both Bunting and the Dispatch. Stop flying BIG PECKERS and the rest of them then. It makes me SICK to watch the media kiss Bunting's ass too.
Hundreds of thousands have given their LIVES for the Constitution and Our Freedoms. Bunting and Meehan tossed it aside for the mere inconvenience of an ear chewing.....patriots my a$$.
Why would a business owner that didn't depend on public good will care if he received a bunch of emails from concerned idiots? The only way the business owner would worry would be if it would cause him to lose money. The only way he would lose money would be that advertisers quit using his service or the town implied that if he didn't stop that his franchise fee would increase. Which was it? Advertisers or Town. Inquiring minds want to know.
Awe go cool off and go see Dinesh's movie, Hillary's America. You will learn the whole truth concerning the Dem Party and Hillary. Do your country some good.
He was probably worried about the anti Trump people. They all are very violent people. Some may not know it because it's unconscious violence but it's in them. When you get so angry over a few words that aren't promoting violence something isn't right with you. You see them at Trump rallies. They can't help themselves and next thing you know they are trying to hurt people.

The complaints should have been handled with, "Grow up (whomever), we're not doing anything about those ads. Is there something else that I can assist you with today?"
Anyone who shoots themselves in the foot by turning down business in this day and age, doesn't deserve a business. "Oh, please just walk all over me, Mayor. Yes master, yes master." Such BS it's fuming and reeks of decaying rubbish.
