A temporary barrier of wooden posts connected by heavy rope was installed along the Seven Seas Lagoon shoreline where a gator snatched away little Lane Graves on Tuesday evening.
Workers also put up signs that read: “Danger. Alligators and snakes in area. Stay away from the water. Do not feed the wildlife.”
The Orlando-area resort had known for decades about the alligator issue — and was even sued in the 1980s about the lack of warnings after another child was attacked — yet there were only “no swimming” signs in place at the lagoon.

Worthless a do good feel good barrier. Gators will be able to proceed on the so called beach. The fence should be a barrier the gators can not across or through.

Rather than killing all the gators, how about keep the children out of the water. As a child, I spent many summers in FL from 5-14 years old. We were told not to go in the water at ponds and lakes. Not Disney's not the gators fault, it lies with the parents.

We all know about different dangers that others do not know about. Without knowing you I know there is more than one danger you are a complete moron about. Also you are just blowing smoke when you want the government to give a test before you could get pregnant. Who else would it be?
Gator infested? They only found four gators that is hardly infested. Also the gators were there long before people showed up just saying.

Since Disney created Seven Seas Lagoon I doubt there were gators on dry land before people showed up.

To 2:15 you don't have to be killed when doing something moronically dangerous to suddenly have an Ah-Ha moment that tells you, you shouldn't have been doing that. Those are the best kind, in fact. The kind where nobody gets hurt or killed and you don't do it again because you realize now what could happen and you learned your lesson allowing you to warn others.

The fence is late but pray it saves lives from here on out. Anybody should know the waters in Florida are infested with alligators, you don't have to live there to assume caution, a child that age and size should not have been in the water at all, the parents were neglectful as well.

I disagree a bit. Disney built that sandy beach where this happened. The child was not swimming he was right at the edge of the beach. Maybe 2 inches of water. Why build a sandy beach if it was not for the enjoyment of the guests?
