David Allan Coe is in trouble with the law.
The 76-year-old country crooner has been ordered to pay the Internal Revenue Service almost $1 million after he pleaded guilty to tax evasion and failing to pay $466,000 in back taxes, interest and penalties, Page Six reported Tuesday.
“Mr. Coe chose to impede and obstruct the due administration of the IRS in an effort to brush aside his duty to file and pay taxes and is now a convicted felon,” an IRS agent told the Post.

I understand the need for the charges, but Al Sharpton has never paid his and has never served a day, his tax evasion has been for years now, and as I understand no $ ever paid.
so why is Sharpton still not charged?

I wonder if Al Sharpton has been convicted yet? I seriously doubt that since he's at Obama's palace every other week.
I read somewhere that in Obama's nearly 8 years Al Sharpton has been a guest at the White House over 30 times. As to why he has not been charged and tried I am sure it has something to do with the fact he is looked at as a black celebrity, preacher what ever his title is he is always at and speaking at every funeral for every young blacks killed by white cops. He inflames society into a frenzy, sometimes races and groups do not choose the best people for their youth to aspire to, there are far better choices, than those that spout racism and stir the pot so to speak. Michael Jordan, Ben Carson, Martin Luther King those are the type of men to follow their lead, and many others.
Gosh, will Coe ever be able to get a job now that he's a felon?
