Can You Name This Type Of Flower?
Over the next several days I will deliver images of flowers, plants and trees. Let's see if you can tell us what each of them are. You are welcome to send me images of a plant you are proud of as well. alberobutzo@wmconnect.com
Yes it's an iris. Now can someone tell me about a bottle I found while walking in the woods with my dog. Has anyone heard of Del iris and what beverage did they produce? The front label says- Del iris Beverages
and the back- Contents 12 Fluid Ounces of Superb Quality Made From Finest Ingredients Obtainable
2:22 PM - Regarding the bottle, if the label is lettering that's molded into the glass, it sounds like it came from a local bottling company from the mid to late 19th century. Local bottlers of soft drinks and patent medicines were very common in the period. I would recommend getting in touch with a local historian who could guide you to more sources.
