2:22 PM - Regarding the bottle, if the label is lettering that's molded into the glass, it sounds like it came from a local bottling company from the mid to late 19th century. Local bottlers of soft drinks and patent medicines were very common in the period.
I would recommend getting in touch with a local historian who could guide you to more sources.
