16 year old boys get charged as adults all the time when it is a capital crime, this is something, but also a cop out. If charged and convicted as juveniles, they get out at 21 and records are sealed. I'd bet if the girls were white, and the dead one was black, there would be Adult charges for all 3.

The DOJ would be all over it, and the rioting would just be getting started.

I believe their names have shown up recently. They should ALL be tried as adults.

Another school, a high school, is bringing justice down on violence. Why is PHS saying nothing about the attack at THEIR school? Because the victim wasn't physically killer? There's more ways of dying than physical death. The victim should sue PHS and WCBOE. It's not even a negotiation at this point. They should be sued not just as an entity but officers personally named as defendants. Jeopardizing their whole would the way the victim's world has been shattered.

Why is it that most of you people don't seem to be that concerned about the victim? Your comments certainly don't indicate you give two pennies about her life and future.

they need to charge these girls as adults and then file for the death penalty. they stopped a potentially strong positive and smart person. These three do not deserve to live if they are found guilty.

So if all parties involved in killing this girl get sentenced to maximum time on all charges they are facing, they are looking at a combined total of 10 years in prison. Unreal.

It sounds like the right step and justice for the family. God bless the school, teachers, students and that family.
