Trump Effect: Ford Scraps Mexico Plant 1000 Jobs Coming Back To USA

Donald Trump, love him or hate him, you have to give him some credit for pressuring theFord Motor Company to scrap a $2,000,000,000 mexican plant. The auto giant will now be bringing the plant back to the good old USA.

Trump’s not the President, but Ford, in response to the candidate’s constant criticism of outsourcing jobs to Mexico, has now announced that they have changed course and plan to bring back 1,000 jobs to beleaguered Youngstown, Ohio.

Interesting - he's having an impact and he hasn't been elected yet!

I can't wait for all the dumbocrats to leave this country!

How great would that be as they serve no useful purpose whatsoever. They are all very nasty people who condone lying and other evil behaviors.

This is good, but the unions had better not try to choke the life out of Ford. That's what started this whole move-to-Mehico thing.

9:47 that is just a small part of the reasons why companies move overseas. It's much more complicated. It has more to do with the taxing system-not corporate taxes because other countries charge that too. The U.S. imposes taxes on our income, whereas over 150 developed countries impose taxes on consumption (they pay taxes on what they buy) and call that tax a VAT.
The VAT system not only operates as a bribe to induce U.S. plants to move overseas, but it is also a scheme to prevent U.S. products from being competitively sold in foreign countries. Here is how the racket works.
When a U.S. product, such as an automobile, arrives at another country’s port, the foreign government slaps on a VAT import tax that is a percentage of the price of the U.S. product, the transportation cost to get it to the foreign country, and the tariff that the foreign country charges.
For 40 years, the U.S. has been signing trade agreements that were supposed to reduce or eliminate tariffs and thereby promote free trade. Other countries sanctimoniously proclaim that they are reducing their tariffs, but in fact they replaced their tariffs with a steadily increasing VAT.

10:10 is correct. To blame it exclusively on the unions is over simplifying the problem. Donald Trump gets it but unfortunately most in Congress can't grasp the complicated problem. Can you imagine Happy Larry Ireton trying to figure it all out? He doesn't have the intelligence required. Maybe if he plays his cards right, when Donald Trump becomes president Ireton can get a job w/the Consumer Protection Agency testing out bar stools.

Do you think maybe part of the problem is the shoddy workmanship Ford has been facing lately?? "F ix O r R epair D aily."

They're leaving Mexico because all of the decent skilled labor has come here to live for free.
