Army, Navy leaders say women should sign up for draft

The uniformed leaders of the Army and Marine Corps said on Tuesday that they believe women should sign up for the draft now that the combat ban has been lifted.

Marine Corps Commandant Gen. Robert Neller and Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark Milley both said women should be required to sign up with the selective service in case the country ever needs to implement a draft.

"It's my personal view that based on this lifting of restrictions … that every American who's physically qualified should register for the draft," Neller said at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing.

Make sure standards are not lowered as has been to allow females in the Military

YES...if we get women in the draft than we can assure that in the event of a major military call up there will be no women state side to have children except people not fit for military duty.

Wait a minute....do we really want that?

Maybe we should rethink this?

Do any of you have young daughters? You should STOP thinking this applies to ALL women who wanted this and realize this applies to female children who have not even been born yet. What do you say now Dad?

Look at Israel. Everyone pays his and her fair share for the defense of their nation.
Don't let half of your population be forever vulnerable.

I can see an huge increase in pregnancies to get out of this. They need to rethink this. We don't need the birthrate for unmarried females going up any higher than it is. Not all women wanted this. Not all women agree that women can do everything a man can do, but not all men can do the things a women can do either. Each is different, good and bad in their own way.
