It should be noted that the Wicomico County Fire Marshall's Office has a bomb sniffing K-9. Hmmmm, I wonder why the Sheriffs Department didn't call that unit in to inspect two Schools recently.

Nice to see this but provoking question. Why didn't the WCSD contact them Monday and Tuesday?
I understand putting little furries in danger, but those two guys look like they're up for the task. Fact is, they were trained to do it!

K-9 had a head cold and called in sick.
Why does the Wicomico County County Fire Marshall's Office have a dog. I thought they were just code inspectors and did not have any police authority.

Shoot. If dog got a head cold from working outdoors sniffin crap then collective bargaining will pay hisntime off in bones and treats!
Fire marshal is a state employee. Has all the same rights a police officer does. Carries a weapon. Has a dog to smell things like burnt gas or other accelerants and powders that have been burned and not able to be smelled by the marshal. Kills the cops to see a firefighter with their powers and carrying a weapon.
Most K-9's are taller than Mike when they stand on hind legs and that violates WCSO policy.
