Teacher Tells Student “Stop writing in cursive!”

“Stop writing your name in cursive. You have had several warnings”

7-year-old Alyssa is the daughter of a military veteran, and was taught to write in cursive at your young age. However, when she wrote her name in cursive while in school, she received a harsh and surprising warning from her teacher.

The note says, “Stop writing your name in cursive. You have had several warnings.”

You need cursive to make your signature. You can't sign your name by only printing. Stupid teacher.

They quit teaching it in school because everything is done by computer. And with the 'one world' philosophy of the liberal left these children won't have checking accounts, all transactions will be handled by bank or gov't issued cards (no cash) with finger print or eye scan ID! God forbid if anyone writes a letter to be mailed! Wonder what historians will have to say about the lost 'art' of cursive writing?

Physically assault the teacher and the teacher will learn a lesson.

Some of us remember how beautiful some cursive handwriting was, and how easily it was written and read.
As long as the student can express her/himself in writing, the end goal is achieved. I'm sure that this student will have no problem writing in block letters if the situation arises.
