Boycott

The real problem is that these companies that once used to be small local companies serving their communities are now just a few world wide conglomerates.
Bakeries, potato chips. beer. The list can go on and on. Big mega companies bought up all the small local companies and eliminated them.
When you travel, you can go the mega chain grocery store and find all the same products no matter where you are.

Does anyone stop to consider the cost of doing business in the US? Taxes and regulation are killing them. Also with these guys it is the tariff on sugar forcing prices up.

Should be Boycotting the government to remove regulation.

I'll keep buying their products, and I'm a happy(and wealthier) shareholder of MDLZ.

Must have been non-negotiable union parties in Chicago. The union members and leadership would rather lose their jobs than negotiate with the "enemy" ie, the employer. Remember Dresser? Or Crown Cork & Seal? They didn't go out of business, but they did go to a more favorable work environment.

600 jobs, we lost that in Salisbury yesterday.
