Ocean City Sandfest

Back by popular demand! Experience all of the fun at the second annual Ocean City Sandfest August 24th through 30th. OC Sandfest will feature giant sand sculptures along the beautiful Ocean City boardwalk with special family attractions and activities.

August 24th through August 28th watch as master champion sand sculptors transform the smooth beach sand into massive works of art. Sculptures will remain on display through August 30th. Stroll along the Ocean City Boardwalk from North Division Street to 4th Street to see these breathtaking sculptures.

On Thursday, August 27th there will be a Sand Sculpting Class at 9am followed by a Family Sand Sculpting Competition at 10am. Prizes will be awarded at noon. Gather your friends and family and join the fun! On Saturday, August 29th there will be a Sand Sculpting Class at 9am and a Hands in the Sand Sculpting Demonstration at 2pm. All events will be taking place on the beach near North Division Street and are weather permitting.

Plus check out the sand sculptures like you’ve never seen before as they light up the night starting Friday, August 28th from 8pm-11pm and continuing on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th. This incredible sight is one not to miss.

This year’s feature sculptors include Dean Arscott from St. Petersburg FL, Daniel Belcher from St. Louis MO, Patrick Harsch from Clearwater FL, Larry Hudson from Tampa FL, Stephen Schomaker from St. Louis MO and our very own George Zaizer from Ocean City MD.
