Milton Man Arrest for Unlawful Sexual Contact

Milton, DE - The Delaware State Police have arrested and charged a 45 year old Milton man with unlawful sexual contact of three young girls.

On Tuesday June 23, 2015, State Police Criminal Detectives were contacted by the family of a 10 year old female victim reporting that she was touched inappropriately by a friend's father. After a thorough and comprehensive investigation, it was determined that Edward S. Husbands had inappropriately touched the victim as well as two other female victims while they were spending the night at his residence in Milton. These incidents, which involved the 10 year old female that reported the incident to her mother, another 10 year old female, and an 11 year old female, occurred on separate occasions dating back to December of 2014.

On Thursday June 25, 2015, Edward S. Husbands, 45 of Milton was arrested and charged with two counts of Unlawful Sexual Contact 1st with a Person less than 13 years of age, one count of Attempted Unlawful Sexual Contact 1st with a Person less than 13 years of age, and three counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was arraigned at JP2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $108,000.00 cash bond. Husbands was also issued a no contact order with the victims as well as any child under the age of 18.
