On Monday, WJZ showed you video of local pharmacies being looted during the riots. Now police tell us those stolen drugs are part of the problem.
“I am more than outraged,” said Baltimore Police Commissioner Anthony Batts.
The commissioner is speaking out about the recent spike in violent crime and confirming what WJZreported Monday — that the looting of more than a dozen pharmacies during the April 27 riots might have played a significant role in making May Baltimore’s deadliest month since 1972.

Not the looting of the 12 or so pharmacies, but the illicit commerce of what was stolen. Too many little guys giving competition to the established dealers usually ends in the little guys being put out of business by a bullet to the head.
When you think about it, how much of each drug was taken? I'm sure that the pharmacies provided that information, down to the tablet, to the police, the DEA and their insurance companies. So, why isn't that information made public so that the commissioner's statements can be weighed?
BS! If anything that would make crime go down as there was a flood of opiates on the street.

Ever think about stopping the looting so this wouldn't have happened in the first place? Guess giving looters "space" to loot wasn't such a good idea after all.
