Bryant and a few others walked along MLK and Washington Blvd to protest the governor's decision to fund the construction of a $30 million youth jail instead of funding Baltimore city public schools.
"Civil disobedience is always an inconvenience," he says. "It never comes without a challenge."
His target with these protests is Governor Hogan. Earlier this month, the Board of Public Works, which is chaired by the governor, approved the funding to build the 60-bed, $30 million juvenile detention center in Baltimore. At the same time, the governor refused to spend $68 million that lawmakers had set aside to fund Baltimore City and 12 other school systems.

Once again the media doesn't report the whole story. This jail had been planned for quite some time and the reason they are building this jail is that Baltimore is currently in federal violation for not having separate juvenile and adult facilities.
Thugs must have a home.
Maybe instead of complaining about building a juvenile jail, the pastor should work with his congregation to keep them out of trouble. Nah, makes too much sense!
Baltimore schools are already among the most highly-funded in America.

Blocking my way on a federal funded highway is not civil disobedience, it's against the law. We should start running over these criminals and they will stop this crap.

This crap (blocking the roads) scares me to death, because I know that if these people try to block the roads when my husband is trying to get me to the hospital to deliver our child, it won't be pretty. My pregnancy is massively high-risk, and he will NOT allow this crap to compromise my life or the life of our child...
So if you are on that highway doing 30 mph they can give you a ticket for impeding the flow of traffic. If you are protesting and impeding the flow that seems to be ok. Start locking these fools up that want to prevent people from getting to work. Set up tent jails like Sheriff Joe has done. A few days in the hot weather sleeping in a tent will make them think twice about their actions.

Run them down, it will stop this crap. You can get away with it too, the law says pedestrians have to use cross walks, and also, no pedestrians are allowed on freeways. If we killed a few, this would stop. Remember the Maryland cop that got run down for their stupid jumping out in front of moving cars to stop them for speeding? The police should escort them off of the highway and into a waiting police bus. They can sit on the bus for a few hours waiting for everyone to get processed and put in a jail cell. Maybe if they make things uncomfortable for people that break the law they will stop this nonsense!
From what I read elsewhere, the bastards are stopping their cars right on the ramps and onto the freeways, so nobody can just push through.
Then they get out of their cars and scream and threaten the (whites) in their stopped cars. One would think that would be illegal and worth locking them up for.
And tow their cars straight to impound, let them pay for a tow and storage fees. They'll think twice next time!
