One of the most basic facts about the Trans-Pacific Partnership is also the most important: It's huge.
The trade deal got over a big hurdle Friday when the Senate voted in favor of giving the Obama administration "fast-track" authority to negotiate the deal with Canada and 10 Asian nations.
That leaves the U.S. House, and it's unclear it has the votes yet. If it passes, though, TPP, which has angered many in the president's party, would be by far the largest free trade agreement the U.S. has in effect.

I'm sure Obama has the USA's best interest in mind...
Trade deals have been bad for this country and the american worker. The only one that benefits from this are the corporations. This government is bought and sold by the corporations and their special interest groups. They no longer represent we the people! We need a second american revolution! Our founding fathers warned us of this. Jefferson did in the federalist papers.
1:26, Jefferson was in France and not even in the country at the time and had nothing to do with the Federalist Papers. Although he was good friends and shared similar beliefs with Madison, he was strongly apposed to Hamilton's ideas about a strong federal government. John Jay was the third contributor. The total purpose of the Federalist Papers was an endorsement to ratify the new Constitution forming a strong central government and not adding any amendments or changes.
