Good one and add their life jackets, flags, the smart cars that brought them there and the list goes on.Where do they think all the poop generated by them is going or are they eating it?
Only 5% of worldwide oil production is used in the manufacture of plastics. Plastics are in just about everything we use. From the mattresses we sleep on to electronics and construction insulation. Plastics have taken the place of many formerly used natural products like wood, leather and glass. Mostly because plastics are cheaper and more durable than their natural alternatives. We simply can't get away from them and live in this world. They are a fact of life. These protesters aren't protesting no oil production but are protesting a specific project by Shell oil to begin drilling for oil in the Arctic. A highly contested project that is being criticized by not only "enviros", but most people with common sense.
Well said 12:53. I would remind anyone who believes these people are fools about the BP oil spill in the Gulf, as well as the Exxon oil spill in Alaska before that.
