Duane Davis, of Baltimore Bloc, said Thursday that police brutality flourished under O'Malley's "zero-tolerance" law enforcement policies during his seven years as mayor. Davis traces the death of Freddie Gray, who suffered a fatal injury in police custody, to O'Malley's policies.
O'Malley has responded to such criticism in the weeks since Gray died April 19. He says Baltimore is safer now than it was in 1999, when he was elected mayor.

ill vote for O'Malley i want everyone in this country to have a taste of him that people in md has had to put up with for his 8 years. maybe then the US can go real broke and we can go into another Depression anyone who was mayor of a city and put them on the red. then become gov. and put the whole state in the red. ya lets make him prez. so the whole country will stay in the red and never recover
