Troopers Will Conduct Multi-Agency Training

The Delaware State Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit will be training with multiple agencies from April 22, 2015 to April 24 2015 during the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Old Dover High School located at 1 Patrick Lynn Drive, Dover, DE.

Troopers will be spearheading a Joint First Responder High Energy Entry Training with the Wilmington Police Department, New Castle County Police Department, New Jersey State Police, Maryland State Police, and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms. The School District was very instrumental allowing all of these agencies to get vital training for first responders.

The real life training allows law enforcement members an invaluable opportunity to obtain real data from actual training scenarios prior to the demolition of the Old Dover High School set for May 2, 2015. Area residents should note the training will take place inside the building and there will be NO live ammunition used.
