Joe,
I was travelling on Owens Branch and Brick Kiln roads and observed the following road conditions.
Isn't this the "New" super- miracle overlay Rick Pollitt was bragging about around six or eight months ago that would save the County so much money and recoat so many more miles of roads?
YEP! I guess we'll have to start scheduling resurfacing twice a year now, right?

The citizens cars are starting to fall apart because of the awful roads. If the county and city aren't going to pave any roads, maybe they should start paying for our expensive car repairs caused by potholes everywhere.
Maybe you should find some real problems to talk about. I think the roads are Obama's fault.
Stupid liberals at it again. They are incredible ignorant. They fall for any and all snakeoil every jerk throws their way. The Sby Waste Water treatment plant comes to mind.
Liberals really need to donate their bodies to science so it can be determined why their brains don't work.
This road was Slurry Sealed in the fall of 2014. While in the curing stage we received a substantial amount of rain, literally washing the sealant off of the road. The contractor was made aware of the issue and in fact sent a crew to clean up the mess, as best he could. The contractor is due back this spring to make the proper repairs on his dime.
Quit bitchin. If you think we have bad roads go to Pennsylvania. The SHA resurfaces roads here that would be good for another 10 years in the Keystone State.
@11:37: Are they going to repair Levin Dashiell rd as well? That road looks far worse than this and was also just done in 2014.
Would someone tell me when the work on 13 business will be completed?
A men 11:51!
Believe in October they blacktopped / tar & chip 2 roads in my area. I say this because they blacktopped 1/2 and tar & chipped half. This is only approx. total miles of 4 miles. Blacktopped 2 miles tar & chip 2 miles.
Rick and his cronies said it was cheaper since they did not have the money.
Guess what they have been back 2 times in the last month with cold patch on the Tar & chip.
That really sounds like it was cheaper to tar & chip the other 2 miles.
